Wheaton Sprague’s scope of work included a curtain wall from level 2 to the penthouse, storefront curtain wall at level 1 and level A, metal panels, steel canopy supporting glass, and louvers. Wheaton Sprague provided complete structural engineering calculations and related coordination and design for the curtain wall system.
Wheaton Sprague also provided complete structural engineering calculations, and related coordination and design for the panel system, as well as complete structural engineering calculations and related coordination and design for the steel canopy system and supporting glass as described in the architectural drawings, and specifications.
This 14 story building was also an expression of WS’s experience with natural stone facades, with the granite glazed into the curtain wall. The granite was added midstream into the project and gave us an excellent opportunity to assist the project team in expressing the unique facade.
