We utilize FLIR infrared thermography equipment to aid in the assessment of building envelope and curtain wall assemblies. Infrared light or thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to "see" and "measure" thermal energy emitted from an object. FLIR is the worldwide leader in thermographic imaging technology. In building enclosures or curtain wall systems, we can often detect thermal bridge deficiencies, entrapped water within a wall or roof, or other anomalies related to defective or deficient building envelope assemblies.
Several of our staff members have completed Level 1 certification training, as well as advanced building diagnostics training at FLIR Headquarters.
We use infrared thermography in combination with other tools to evaluate roofs, vertical walls, masonry structures, EIFS, cladding, fenestration, and other building envelope assemblies. We look forward to continuing to utilize our thermography skills, knowledge, training & experience to provide further enhancement to our assessment capabilities and providing added value to our clients.
