Lincoln Square Office Tower is located in Bellevue, Washington. It is a high rise office tower featuring a sloped front glass curtain wall. The finished building is 29 stories with panel and glass.
One of the things that makes this project so interesting is that this building had originally been started by another owner and contractor. Design and partial construction had already taken place when the new owner purchased the building.
Wheaton Sprague was provided architectural and structural drawings from Walters & Wolf Curtain Wall based in Seattle, Washington. Wheaton Sprague provided the applications design, engineering, and shop drawings for the custom unitized curtain wall system for the Tower. The project had a tight budget and much repetition. Wheaton Sprague's deliverables included PE stamped shop drawings and structural calculations.
The client exceeded expectations for speed of installation, averaging 50 to 60 units per day in some cases and finishing a floor every 2-3 days. This was due in part to the collaborative design and engineering between Wheaton Sprague and Walters & Wolf and the efficient use of equipment.
The building houses Eddie Bauer and Microsoft among its tenants and is part of a burgeoning high end retail area in downtown Bellevue. Lincoln Square tower boasts great views of the mountains and downtown Seattle.
