Wheaton Sprague Announces Structural Engineering Manager

Mr. Charles V. Shepard has been promoted to the position of Structural Engineering Manager for the Stow branch office of Wheaton Sprague Building Envelope. Chuck joined Wheaton Sprague in 2008, following several years with Urban Engineering in Pennsylvania, and many years with Harsh Engineering Services in Rootstown, Ohio.  Serving previously as Senior Engineer at Wheaton Sprague, Chuck has consistently brought fresh creativity to his assignments and worked effectively and collaboratively with both staff and clients.

In this new role, Chuck will assume reporting responsibility for all staff of the Stow Engineering team.  He will report directly to Mike Kohler, Stow Branch Manager and to John Wheaton, President, on matters pertaining specifically to engineering disciplines.  Principle among Chuck’s new responsibilities will be personnel onboarding and skills development for existing and new staff members.  Other responsibilities include continual process improvement, timeline and budget management, improved collaboration across Project Management and drafting teams, client relationship management and the establishment of quantifiable performance metrics for the Engineering Department. Mr. Shepard has professional registrations in 13 U.S. States.
