The latest Producer Price Index (PPI) data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) shows that prices for materials used in the glass and glazing industry went up in February.

The monthly PPI for flat glass in the commodity category was unchanged in February from the previous month, and it’s up 1.9 percent from February 2017. According to the BLS, the commodity classification “organizes products and services by similarity or material composition, regardless of the industry classification of the producing establishment.”
